AAUW Auburn Tech Trek Program in a Nutshell
Tech Trek is an weeklong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) camp for local girls entering 8th grade. Campers spend a week living the life of a college student on the UC Davis campus, learning through hands-on problem solving and meeting women role models in STEM careers. Many of our campers will choose college majors and careers in STEM fields – far beyond normally expected rates.

Volunteers needed.
Throughout the year, Auburn AAUW volunteers undertake a range of tasks, from big to small, to support Auburn’s Tech Trek Program. All volunteer tasks involve helping with recruiting nominee campers from the Auburn area schools. Some volunteers help at the summer camp itself at UC Davis Tech Trek Camp or other Northern California Tech Trek camps at UC Santa Cruz, CSU Sonoma, Santa Clara University and TT CA Virtual Camp.
